Take a few minutes to contemplate your experiences with rule transformation, and if you are in a group, take some time to share your experiences. Let yourself be aware what you discovered that helped you transform placating, people-pleasing into saying it straight, by honoring yourself, as well as the other person and the issues between you (not necessarily agreeing with the other person). How do you feel when you go beyond where you have been while doing your rule transformation or when you witnessed someone else doing their rule transformation? You may wish to briefly record below an experience as you transformed one of your rules, or as you witnessed someone else transforming their rule.

Later, you can explore further in your journal.

If you are in a group, you may wish to have more sessions that deal with transforming rules leading to placating, people-pleasing communication-behavior. In this way, everyone in the group will have the opportunity to transform such rules and experience the transformation from disempowering to empowering ways of being in the world.

With rule transformations, we can go to wholeness from a victim position by honoring ourselves, others, and our issues.
